We are looking for a new roommate to take over an individual lease, starting June 1, 2021 and lasting through May 31, 2022. This person would be joining 2 women (a PhD student and an undergraduate student both from the University of Arkansas) in the area around Hunt Lane on the eastern edge of Fayetteville. The space is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath 2-story house with a garage and large backyard. The incoming person would move into an upstairs bedroom with a shared bathroom (pictures posted). The bedroom is large and has its own walk-in closet and a window overlooking the backyard. The bathroom has a shower/tub with jets. The living room and kitchen are downstairs and are currently fully furnished (also pictured). We do have a working washer and dryer in the house. There is a garage that we use as storage and there is currently driveway and street parking that fits 3-4 cars comfortably. The house itself is located in eastern Fayetteville off of Huntsville Road. Dickson street area is about a 10-12 minute drive, the MLK parking area at the University of Arkansas is a 15 minute drive, and the closest Walmart/Harps is 8-10 minutes away. It is a chill neighborhood on the edge of several farming properties and qualifies as a safe area with mostly elderly couples and a few families in the mini-neighborhood. This house is pet-friendly. We currently have 2 large dogs and 1 cat, as well as an assortment of reptiles and amphibians. The incoming person is welcome to bring pets (or not), but they must be comfortable with having animals in the house and must be responsible enough to make sure that pets are not allowed to escape through open windows or doors. We ourselves are chill people – we keep it relatively clean although dog hair is a common presence in the house. The incoming roommate will be asked to help with general house/yard maintenance (the beauty of living in a house compared to an apartment lol). Neither of use currently throw large gatherings at the house (it’s a bit small for that/also COVID), but the backyard is a great place for grilling and hanging out – especially if you have lawn games. Rent: $400 per month plus utilities and internet (~$50-$100 per month, depending on the season). Feel free to contact me if you’re interested or have any questions! We would definitely like to meet interested people prior to committing to living together (as I’m sure anyone interested would also like to do), plus anyone interested would be invited to check out the house/us/pets themselves. PLEASE CONTACT FOR PHOTOS!!!!!! For some reason I cannot get the photos to work on this website, but I promise I have plenty!
